After several years on the market, Tire Sentry has responded to customer request and suggestions relating to the installation and use of their products, by making the following improvements.

1. Longer Sensor Battery Life... Sensor power requirements have been reduced and transmission duty cycles modified, resulting in increased battery life of five to six times that of older sensors. The new Tire Sentry systems use only two batteries. The new battery is a type 357 high-capacity silver oxide battery and is available from most any drug or discount store, or directly from the factory. (Cost is about $3.00 per wheel from the factory.)

2. Low Battery Warning... New Tire sentry Wheel Sensors monitor battery power and advise you when batteries need replacement.

3. Made in the USA... Tire Sentry TMA Series production is in the U.S. Component parts are made to ISO 9000 quality standards where available.

4. Advanced Aerospace Materials and Quality Standards... are employed in every Tire Sentry system. Materials approved or recognized by the Dept. Of Transportation (D.O.T.); NTSA; and ASTM are used in all new generation Tire Sentry systems.

5. New Microchip Technology... means latest state-of-the-art Superhetrodyne, and Surface Acoustic Wave RF components are used to block out disruptive signals and "cross-talk" from other vehicles, and improves signal strength to the receiver.

6. Unique Vehicle Codes... All sensors are coded specifically for your vehicle or trailer so your Wheel Sensors are recognized by only your Receiver Instrument. This enables wheel sensors to be vehicle specific or fleet specific* as necessary for individual operation, or fleet operation.

7. New Operating Frequency... 303.825MHz and 433 MHz results in fewer false signals, and less signal disruption from diesel engines.

8. New Sensor Design... enables using more stable pressure diaphragms, resulting in improved pressure regulation and resistance to temperature extremes. Improved rubber formulas for all seals and diaphragms means greater reliability and trouble free operation. All Tire Sentry wheel sensors are repairable, and can by reset to a new tire pressure when desired rather than having to buy a new sensor.

9. Easier Installation... new surface mount technology enables all in-cab Receiver/Decoder elect-ronics to be in the instrument Display Housing instead of 2 separate modules connected by a cable.

10. Wheel Sensors... can be re-set by the operator for new tire pressures as may be necessary.
