FLEET SPECIALTIES CO.

Fleet Specialties Co. was organized in May of 1984 by several ex-aerospace and electronics managers dedicated in using their product and design skills to bring new and unique electronic products to the automotive and transportation markets. With projects inspired by Department of Transportation(D.O.T.), programs. Fleet Specialties was instrumental in the development and introduction of several new technologies and products for the trucking and transportation industries.

In January of 1985, Fleet Specialties introduced their Backing Radar™ system to the market, and by the following year introduced their first video backing system. This was soon followed by a joint effort with SONY which resulted in the Video Mirror System, a proprietary rear viewing video system designed for the Truck and Bus industries, and currently going into its 3rd generation of products.

Among the innovative products developed and marketed by Fleet Specialties are the "Video Mirror System™" rear viewing CCTV system for vehicular use; "The Backing Radar™" ultra-sonic sensing systems; and the "TransCam™" on-board video security system for metro-bus and rail car applications.

Fleet Specialties is currently developing its next generation of wireless Tire Sentry wireless tire pressure monitoring systems for various classes of vehicles.

Fleet Specialties Div. is a wholly owned subsidiary if FTC Inc., a privately held California Corporation, and is engaged in manufacturing Tire Sentry Systems for markets in North, and South America, Europe and Japan.
