Is there any real benefit in monitoring tire temperature? The monitoring of tire temperature only has real benefits for some unique vehicle applications. Since the main cause of elevated tire Temperatures are as a result of excessive side-wall flexing, (usually as a result of the tire being under-inflated). This becomes a non-issue if you can prevent your tires from being run under-inflated.
